Balangauan, Sarines expected to face off in the Philippine Amateur Open at Luisita

Tashanah “Tashi” Balangauan is heading to the Philippine Amateur Open slated at Luisita starting tomorrow as one of the favorites to win the ladies tiara.

She’s actually brimming with confidence and determination especially after finishing runner up in the National Strokeplay Championship last week.

Competition in Tarlac, though, would be as tough as she goes up against the best lady ams in the country including Strokeplay winner Lisa Sarines, Precious Zaragosa, Grace Quintanilla and Ally Gacion.

But Balangauan remains unperturbed and will try her very best to win.

“I have been performing better each tournament and I am hoping for a major breakthrough in this NGAP event,” Balangauan told the Perfect Drive PH.
